What ever happened to the Stig's Communist cousin?

I'm just watching a recording of the first episode of the latest series of Top Gear and in the preview bit we see a 'red Stig' and is introduced to us by Clarkson in typical Clarkson fashion "The Stig's Communist cousin!" but we never see him in the series. I was expecting him/it to appear in the Vietnam episode but he didn't. What happened to him?
