I want to take my PSAT's for the first time in october....?

I am an incoming sopre I took Geometry last year, I am in my third year of Latin, and I'm taking the sopre version of AP English. I was going to do my PSAT/SAT's last year but I had way to much going on. On my SAT's my aim is about 2150. I'm doing the SAT question of the day every day and getting them all right with a few exceptions when I rush on the math, but I haven't taken a cl or took a pretest or gone through one of the books. I have kaplan flash cards, college board sat book (new one), baron's book, and kaplan writing section. but how should I prepare to do as well as I can on the PSAT's because aren't they a little different then the SAT's like no essay. I want to ace it, but how can I be more than prepared?
