How do you remove permanent ink from plastic, without ruining the plastic?

My gles lens has one of those trademarks on it; they aren`t prescription, but I`d like them to look as though they were. The trademark is very distracting. The lenses are plastic; but I`d like to take them off without ruining the lens all together. PLEASE HELP?
