Catholics and christians and all?

Around two years ago my younger brother was molested by a preist who taught at our catholic school. Cos of this my family now rejects their faith and I never really knew why until recently. After a lot of research i have found that this is a regular thing happening all over the world, I have found thousands and thousands of cases and I have also seen evidence that the catholic church officials have tried to hide these incidents. The worse part is that many of these priests have claimed it is a religious practice and a young mans “right of page”. I Have found no other religion or belief system in which this is occurring on this scale. I also feel that if catholicism was the correct religion then this could never be. How do others feel about this? Anybody else know any one effected?
