Can I block uploads from ares?

That sounds mean, but ive got a limited internet usage. 5 GB/month, and it sucks if i fall asleep or leave the laptop connected, and ive got a surprise 1 GB already used thanks to the uploading. Even when im not connected, they upload and the only way to stop it is to disconnect from the internet, or sit and keep cancelling the uploads from users (sorry ares users What can i do?
