It is important that your son gets his paternity test first so then they can compare it to the fathers dna. They normally have the client that issued the test give their dna first so that way if they change their mind the other person wont have to waste money on a dna test that didnt need to be done. Once your sons dna is in they have to test him against the fathers by doing a cross-match. You could always search google on paternity tests questions. I would imagine the results would be back no later than six weeks.
